Jeju at Nirwana Resort (Bintan) 5th July 2007

They served very good Korean food at that time.

Let's face it. Although Hao & Lin already stomach fulled of titbits...

Especially the kimchi. The rice is fantastic! Although I never like rice really much, their's is the one of the best I have ever tasted. Have tasted Thai fragrant rice, Japanese ones etc but none like this. Good texture and fragrance. And if a restuarant takes an basic effort on serving quality rice, I would think they are really sincere enough. Anyway I took more attention on the hotpot itself and kimchi.

Around S$50 at that time. Enough for 4 person servings but we didn't know and ordered as the menu stated for two persons.

One of the BEST!!!

Lunch at MaryBrown JB

Sitting in a swing at the restuarant eating Nasi Lemak...
How is the Marybrown nasi lemak then?
The rice is dry and hard. Fried chicken is cold and dry like the old crew aunties taking the order.
My personal sugguestion - I would save my tummy space for something better lah...(Hao)

Trying Prata at JB

Fish curry with prata gosong in the morning - accompany with a teh-tarik ice!

The Indian guy really got me caught! Ask me to pay RM$50 for our "breakfast". Almost brought his table and chairs home or otherwise got himself bash up & thrown into the trash behind his coffee shop.

SO CALL "LASKA SPECIALIST" (JOHOR BAHRU - CITY SQUARE) 23/4/07

A DISGRACE TO OUR SINGAPORE LASKA!!!

If you ever imagine someone open a shop claiming to be the best laska seller (Singapura) in JOHOR BAHRU - CITY SQUARE basement...& their laska sucks (in balance of their price!!!).

Nasi Be'Ra'Nee... (Hard rice & chicken)

See MY THUMB RATING!!!
But their service is average enough to make up for the poor food!

TOTAL RATINGS = (by Hao) FOOD:3, SERVICE:7, HYGIENE:NON-GRADEABLE, PRICE:4, OVERALL: Don't GO!
At the back of my mind - is their boss hate Singaporeans so much that he want to open a stall to make Singapore laska "A laughing stock?!" . The laska they served is so far below our average Singaporean laska that I don't think they should sell it at all... It makes me feel to have laska at the louisest laska stall which I wouldn't buy at Choa Chu Kang..

MODERN EATERY AT AMK? (22/4/07)

Check it out! (Emmm ~ attitude really bad to customers..) Their service staff hate you to patron them.. You get ignored, get yourself embarrassed for nothing, & eventually if you are pissed off enough, you make pull the Indian guy out for a very good bashing out of his life for being so...Maybe it is really bad days everyday for their staff to give an explanation for forgiving them...

Queue call - like seeing a doctor at Polyclinic (Idea huh?). You take a queue no., go to your table & wait for your no. to be call so that you call get your food ordered. (Look out for the new feature circle in red at top of pic!)

It's a mushroom egg prata for S$2 (Nil other charges yet). Basically it is hot from the pan (Earns some point) & rich taste. Gravy quite salty graded by Hao & Lin.

TOTAL RATINGS = (by Hao), FOOD:7, SERVICE:2, HYGIENE:NON-GRADEABLE, PRICE:8, OVERALL: Get yourself to hate your lovable prata by their service.
You won't feel the urge of going there a 2nd time.

$1.20 LASKA ???

Guess its' the only stall that sells S$1.20 in Singapore and still standing!!!

Shop located in Chinatown, 5-10mins walk from Outram MRT station.

Usual price for laska range from S$2.50 - S$3.50.

TOTAL RATINGS = (by Hao), FOOD:7, SERVICE:6, HYGIENE:NON-GRADEABLE, PRICE:8
OVERALL: No "harm" & small serving enough for a snack only. Worth trying cause it is the cheapest laska in town.
